Looking into offering something closer to a bondage restraint set, this belt takes aspects from other DSG designs and applies them to a premium bondage belt.
Forgive me for a bit of copy/paste from past design features, but just in case you are not familiar with other DSG items: One of the biggest additions is hook and loop fastener to make applying the belt easier and to prevent the splitting effect during rough play. Splitting refers to the strap overlap in the buckle area and with heavy movement the ends can drift vertically creating the split. Application wise it helps a lot to get the starting desired tightness and then can take your time tightening the buckle without worrying about the belt falling off. There is just enough hook and loop to tackle these problems while staying out of sight when the belt is actually on, thus keeping a sexy classic look.
The main platform is about 3" wide with a 1.25" strap. Garment leather is used to make the liner which acts as padding for the interior and edges. There is just enough to make them comfortable without over doing it on padding which tends to result in a bulky look. The liner also makes it so there is no metal directly touching the skin, thus much less maintenance or allergy concerns. The resulting width is a good "middle size" for a bondage belt where not slim like a typical belt yet not so wide it needs 2 strap buckles.
The current hardware layout is 5 D-rings which offer great attachment options. This way one can dial in if they want arms attached to the side a little more forward or a little more back, or just connect to the middle front. To make it more prisoner belt style, a bullring can be added that will be big enough to fit handcuffs in and makes for a nice look as well. When wanting to connect things with the wearer having their arms behind their back, the belt can just be rotated 180 degrees to get the center D-ring placement.
As for hardware notes the 1.25" D-rings seem to be a good size to be substantial, but not overkill. At first considering 1.5" slot size D-rings I soon noticed they get dramatically larger compared to smaller sizes so I passed on that idea being concerned they would get in the way more often than desired.
Although not necessarily creating something super new concept wise, I am happy how these bondage belts have turned out so far and just wanted to share the result.
